We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator with Room Leader experience for permanent opportunities at our centre in Ropes Crossing, NSW. This is a 138 place purpose built service with state of the art infrastructure to support the educators and the children. It is close to public transport and has ample parking for staff.

As a Room Leader, your core responsibilities will be to:

- Plan, supervise and implement the program for the room in accordance with the policies,
- Understand the regulatory requirements listed in the National Regulations and National Quality Standards, with the focus to provide an excellent level of education and care to the children at the centre-based service
- Lead and mentor the educators in the room
- Build fantastic rapport and incorporate a strong home-school partnership with the parents

What we are looking for
- A completed or working towards a Diploma of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA equivalent)
- Current/Valid working With Children’s Check (WWC) and relevant First Aid Certificates
- Previous working experience in Early Childhood education
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- The desire to make a positive contribution to a professional, collaborative and focused team
- A love for children and a desire to make childcare a long-term career
- Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high-quality care

**Salary**: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
