Supply Chain Manager

We are looking for a motivated, highly organized and experienced **Supply Chain Manager** to join our Jetstar Account Team, based at our offices in Coolangatta on a full-time permanent basis.

**More about this role**:
This leadership role is responsible for strategic planning, directing, and coordinating key supply chain sourcing functions for our largest Retail partner, Jetstar Airways.

**In a nutshell, your main responsibilities are**:

- Strategically sourcing in-flight retail food, beverage and merchandise
- Establish and negotiate contract terms and conditions, on-board suppliers, and update across our systems.
- Prepare product presentations detailing expected margins/revenue improvements
- Exposure to Jetstar crew and Inflight Management team for product familiarisation and sales training
- Maintaining the product menu grid document for all group airlines
- Developing purchasing procedures to ensure products meet stringent quality standards as per Australian Food Safety HACCP and CCP guidelines, dnata catering policies and procedures, and Jetstar/Qantas group policies where necessary
- Identifying cost savings opportunities for the business, with a focus on net margin improvement, and supply terms that favour dnata catering
- Monitor and review supplier performance with respect to price, service, and quality, ensuring periodic review of trading terms for any improvements and/or better alternatives in the market.

**What do you need to be successful in securing this role?**
- Demonstrated success in a similar role with strong work ethic.
- Deep understanding of the end-to-end procurement process, and the commercial maturity to adapt to the market conditions.
- Experience in a category management role will be highly desirable.
- Tertiary qualifications in relevant field preferred.
- Proven track record in achieving savings through strategic sourcing.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills with ability to present up to C-Level
- Well developed financial competency to devise, execute and manage own budget.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an analytical and methodical approach.
