**Job Description**:
Customer Success Team Lead (SS&C Cloud)
SS&C Technologies is consolidating our dispersed infrastructure footprint onto the SS&C Cloud, where we can automate operational processes and simplify management. Some of our cloud customers need guidance on the cloud itself and the tooling we provide.
As a Customer Success Team Lead, you will be managing a regional team for our cloud onboarding and support organization. You will act as technical lead and mentor for your team members, while also engaging with our cloud customers and ensuring their needs are being met.
You will be partnering with software and operations engineers to support a modern private cloud that can handle the requirements for a global company.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop strategic and technical plans that help customers achieve their business objectives
- Define and report on KPIs (e.g., SLAs, MTTA, MTTR, etc.)
- Form relationships with key stakeholders and development team to understand how the product roadmap could impact existing customers
- Actively listen to our customer needs and help them formulate solutions
- Establish a reputation for competence and cooperative spirit among all team members at SS&C
**Qualifications**:
- Experience serving as a technical leader and managing individual contributors
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Deep reservoirs of patience and empathy
- A solid grasp of CI/CD processes and the tools used to carry them out
- Hands-on experience with configuration management systems (e.g., Salt, Ansible, Helm, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, etc)
- 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership position
- 5+ years of experience developing software or administering Linux/Windows systems
- Experience with container technologies and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Experience with devops practices and observability tools
- Understanding of basic networking concepts (e.g., load balancing, ACLs, DNS)
