This emerging FMCG player in Regional Victoria has a strong connection to the local community as an employer of some 200+ people. With the site coming under new ownership there is considerable appetite for investment across all facets of the operational footprint, including the brodaer WHS capability. Operating in both domestic and export markets, this vertically integrated agri-business is investing in it's future success from a people and operations perspective.

**About the opportunity**

Joining the business as the WHS Manager across roughly 9 assets including their processing/packing facility,your remit will be centred around the development and execution of the site WHS strategy. With the business invested at all levels in creating a safer working environment, you will be supported by a HR and Risk function that will take ownership of the Return to Work function, allowing you to focus on day to day and strategic health and safety. Core areas of focus for this role include:

- Collaboration with senior leadership to build capability in the safety function, delivering and executing the WHS plan
- Risk management, oversite of a high risk environment including heavy industrial machinery and traffic management
- Training and development across all facets of the business from operations thorugh to leadership
- Emergency and incident management.

**What we are looking for**:
This role would be well suited to an established safety professional who is familiar with operational environments across manufacturing/supply chain or similar. You have had ownership of a safety function before and know how to bring about improvements at both a performance and cutlural level in OH&S. Someone who is equally capable communicating from shop floor up to senior leadership, you bring a growth mindset and want to take an organisation on a change journey.
