**About the OPPORTUNITY**

We have an new opportunity for a Tool Store Operator to join our maritime team based at Osborne SA.

You will be responsible for delivering all services within the Operator Trade Group role, including tasks requiring a high-risk license, to support successful project delivery across the shipyard. This includes supporting all production work on blocks and ships, as well as assisting with other related tasks as required.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Ensure services align with the Manufacturing Plan and quality/technical standards are met or exceeded
- Perform only tasks you are qualified and competent to do, including those requiring high-risk licenses
- Collaborate with the Manager to ensure all equipment is certified, tested, and safely maintained
- Support safety and housekeeping by reporting maintenance issues and maintaining organised work areas
- Oversee tooling and consumables: issue to production teams, monitor stock levels, and report needs
- Foster a positive work environment, engage in team safety and quality goals, and complete required training

**About YOU**
- Hold and maintain the appropriate licenses for operating equipment and performing tasks within the shipyard
- Demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of your role with accountability for outcomes and performance
- Strong communication with a focus on teamwork and collaboration
- Committed to safety and contributing to a safe and compliant work environment
- Reliable time management and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office desirable), with flexibility to support shift work as required
- Experience within a Defence or Naval or Shipbuilding environment
- Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
