Business Mantra is in search of a detail-oriented tax preparer to assist with tax planning and filing. Our newest tax preparer will help meet tax deadlines seamlessly, from organizing the right documents to doing thorough reviews of all potential tax situations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Review a variety of financial documents to prepare tax returns and provide tax services
- Develop and execute tax strategies, while researching any potential deductions or future problems
- Collaborate with others on the tax team to devise long-term tax plans and strategies
- Interview clients as needed to determine the best path for their needs
- Actively prepare for major tax deadlines throughout the year

Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in public accounting and/or tax planning and preparation
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Understand Australian Taxation

Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of relevant software, such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor’s /Master’s degree in accounting or finance
- Familiarity with individual returns
