**THE CLIENT**:
Our client is a market leader with a mandate for growth as they navigate through increased demand and expansion opportunities. They are looking for a Group Financial Controller to lead and continuously improve their finance function whilst they go through a period of change.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
Leading a team of 7 and reporting to the CFO you will be an integral part of a passionate finance team. A great attitude and ability to be results focused will ensure your success in this role. You will be responsible for driving process improvement and operational performance by challenging the status quo and identifying and executing on opportunities for greater efficiency of financial compliance activities and quality of management information.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Develop, grow, and manage the finance and accounting function
- Provide meaningful insights to inform decision making at board, executive and operational level.
- Provide insightful management reporting to the executive team
- Preparation of the annual budgeting and forecasting
- Managing the month-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Responsible for the year-end audit process and statutory reporting requirements.
- Responsible for meeting all tax compliance obligations
- Ad-hoc duties as requested

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- A relevant Bachelor's degree (Commerce / Accounting)
- CA/CPA Qualified
- Exceptional technical accounting skills and the willingess to get into the detail
- Experience in leading a finance team in a complex business
- Advanced excel skills and good knowledge of accounting systems and processes
- Strong attention to detail
- Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
