**About the role**

Based in Braeside, this company is a leading packaging manufacturer. They are now seeking an experienced forklift operator to join their team, commencing as an on-hired employee. They have day and afternoon shift available.

**Day shift**:06:00am to 02:00pm** Casual rate**: $31.25 per hour

**Afternoon shift**:02:00pm to 10:00pm** Casual rate**: $37.50 per hour

The right person will have the opportunity to move into a permanent role after the successful completion of a probationary period.

**Responsibilities**
- Ensure required materials are available and machines are replenished
- Create clean and efficient work environment and ensure 5S standards are implemented
- Comply with HACCP certification, quality and OH&S codes and practices
- Operate forklift and load/unload trucks

**Skills and experience**
- Physically fit and able to comfortable lift up to 25kgs regularly
- Excellent communication skills and team player
- Great attitude, attention to detail and ability to work unsupervised
- Experience in a similar role
- Must have a forklift licence
