**About the role**

As a Community Worker at Partnercare Australia, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in the aged and disability community. This casual position involves providing personalized care and assistance to help our clients maintain their independence and quality of life.

**What you'll be doing**
- Assisting clients with everyday tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and social engagement
- Advocating for clients' needs and working closely with their support networks to ensure comprehensive care
- Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate records
- Participating in team meetings and collaborating with other care providers
- Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure the highest standards of safety and care

**What we're looking for**
- Minimum Certificate III/IV in Disability Services or equivalent experience in community services, disability support, or a related field
- Previous experience working with the aged or people with disabilities, preferably in a community-based setting
- Medication Competency
- First Aid Certificate/CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Valid Driver’s License/own reliable car
- Comprehensive Car Insurance
- National Police Check
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Full working rights in Australia
- Manual Handling Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- NDIS Worker Screening
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- The Basics of Infection Prevention and Control
- New Workers NDIS Induction Module
- CALD multilingual is a plus
- **A minimum availability of 3 Weekdays.**

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $57.74 per hour
