**Position**: Female Disability Support Worker
**Organization**: Truecare Disability Services

We are seeking experienced Female Support Workers to join our team. As a part of our 24-hour roster, you will provide high-intensity support, catering to the unique needs of our clients.

Location: South of the River

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver high-quality, personalized care to clients with varying disabilities.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and communication.
- Implement and follow care plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Facilitate community participation and social inclusion.
- Provide support during morning, evening, and sleepover shifts.

**Essential Requirements**:

- **Experience**: Experience at least 2 years in supporting people with disabilities, particularly those with high-intensity support needs.
- **Availability**: Must be available for morning, evening, and sleepover shifts.
- **Qualifications**: Minimum Certificate 3 in disability support or a related discipline.
- **Attributes**: Compassionate, patient, and committed to enhancing the quality of life for people with disabilities.
- **Personal Qualities**: Creative, motivated, enthusiastic, with a can-do attitude and a calm, focused approach to problem-solving.
- **Approach**: Understand the choice and control of people with disabilities, person-centred approach, and familiar with NDIS.
- **Consistency**: Understand the importance of consistency and the ability to follow the individual’s support plan.
- **Communication Skills**: Fluent in English, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficient in case noting and report writing.

**Licenses and Certificates**:

- Full Australian Driving License and reliable car with comprehensive insurance cover.
- NDIS worker screening certificate.
- Current First Aid Certificate and CPR.
- Double vaccinated against COVID-19 and current Flu vaccination.
