Assistant Venue Manager

Alcotraz Melbourne is looking for an Assistant Venue Manager / Bar Manager.
This is a hybrid role where previous people management experience is essential.
On weekdays you will have standard bar manager responsibilities such as stock management/ordering, scheduling the bar team, bar cleanliness, as well as making high quality cocktails at high speed during the shows we run.
On a weekend, this individual will step up to managing the whole venue, including intake of guests, making sure the show runs to time and handling any customer issues.
We expect this role to provide 25-30 hours a week as part of a part time contract, initially starting as a casual contract to allow you to start with us quickly while all the contracts are being sorted and agreed. The majority of hours will come across the Friday/Saturday.
We are looking for someone to start immediately.

**Pay**: Pay: $45k - $55k per year
**On Site Hours**:
- 25-27 hours a week on site, with 16 of them being Friday/Saturday.
- Plus 3 hours for scheduling the team
