**Job Description**:
We currently have an exciting role available for an Associate Director in Electrical Engineering to join our 'Resources and Industrial' team in our Newcastle office.

In ‘Resources and Industrial’, we offer services that span the entire project life cycle. From concept to detailed design, engineering and project management for execution and commissioning phases, as well as decommissioning and closure of existing operations.

Projects range from large scale industrial and power facilities, small scale brownfield improvement projects to collaborating with other deparments in the areas of road infrastructure and water infrastructure.

This role presents an opportunity to help achieve transformational outcomes for our clients, working with global experts to address the complex infrastructure challenges of a transitioning economy and growing region.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Accountable for the results of the team, establishing goals and objectives adherence to budget.
- Conduct peer reviews and make technical recommendations.
- Identify trends, issues and opportunities for the Resources and Industrial team, while establishing delivery strategies to achieve our clients' goals.
- Operating with the highest standards of integrity, making safety a priority.
- Actively involved with clients and business development, through new business and repeat business with satisfied clients.
- Provide guidance to Engineers in your team. Leading by example in both technical and how you conduct yourself personally and professionally.

**Qualifications**:
You are a passionate, professional Engineer with proven excellence in client service delivery. This will be evident through your approach to understanding the needs and drivers of our clients and delivering the right solution on time, every time.

You will also be able to demonstrate:

- A commitment to safety and leading by example.
- High degree of technical competency in the field
- Successful track record and experience in managing and leading projects (or components of) to meet or exceed client expectations
- Commitment to teamwork and strong mentoring skills
- Confident communication style, with an ability to advise and influence key stakeholders, including clients and contractors, during all stages of a project lifecycle
