Chamberlains Law Firm is currently seeking an Associate to join our Insolvency and Strategic Advisory Team in Newcastle.

About the Role:
We are looking for an Associate to join our firm. Ideally candidates will have an interest in advocacy and will be looking to progress their career to the next level.
You will have excellent mentoring from highly experienced team members who will assist you with your career development. We aim to provide a balance of supervision and autonomy to allow you to develop as quickly as possible.
Training in these areas will be provided. Initially, you will be:
- Assisting with complex litigation and matters
- Drafting correspondence and legal documents
- Conducting research
- Liaising with potential new clients and existing clients
- Court appearance work
- Attending client appointments
- Assisting with drafting marketing articles and participation in business development activities
- Working closely with Directors

- Be able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Manage your time efficiently and use initiative
- Have excellent organisation skills
- Have good judgment and common sense
- Be proactive and self-motivated
- Be passionate about a career in the law
