**Duties and Responsibilities**
As an **APS Level 5 program officer** your duties will include:

- manage a caseload of participants, including regular monitoring and communication
- mentor and supervise junior team members.

As an
**APS Level 5 Policy Officer** your duties will include
- prepare research and policy advice in relation to skills assessments and skilled migration
- engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand the delivery of skills assessments and their role in the skilled migration program
- use evidence from analysis, research, and evaluations to inform policy thinking around skills assessments, including by making recommendations about potential improvements, and
- help deliver strategic projects commissioned to guide the delivery of best practice skills assessments to effectively support skilled migration.
