About us
Students at Yarrabilba State School are privileged to be educated in a modern facility ensuring they have what they need to be successful 21st century learners. Our facilities are state of the art, including innovation workshops for robotics and science, dedicated music rooms, resource centre with green room for video recording and modern flexible classroom learning spaces with kitchenettes for practical learning. Your Role
- Identify barriers to young children achieving outcomes and enable referral to appropriate support services.
- Maintain records of family contact on a daily basis.
- Support families to achieve early development, health and learning outcomes.
- Develop and monitor post program support as required to meet program performance criteria.
- Develop and foster relationships between the school, community and families.
- Conduct home visits with children and their families to advise and provide strategies for a more positive early childhood experience.
- Contribute as part of the professional team working with the school and the community and liaise with children, teachers, parents, early childhood services and other government departments.
- Inform and educate parents, community members and students on relevant issues that may impact family engagement in local early years services.
- Develop and implement programs to support early learning.
Mandatory Requirements
- When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
