**_ We are currently seeking a General Handyperson/Maintenance Services Assistant to join our team on a permanent full-time basis, Monday - Friday. The position is based at our _**_newly acquired home -_**_ Lyrebird Village _**_in Drouin, Victoria_**_. _**

Supported by our grounds person you will assist with the general repair, maintenance in the facility. This is a hands-on position, requiring the individual to manage their own workload with a can-do approach and a knack for thinking creatively.

**The role duties include**:

- General repairs and maintenance including but not limited to; painting, cleaning, replacing light globes, etc
- Assisting with our preventative maintenance throughout the facility including resident rooms and public areas
- Maintaining hygiene and occupational health and safety requirements by ensuring that work is carried out safely and securing all areas of work at all times.

- Ability to carry out a variety of Handyperson tasks
- Self-motivated and possess a strong work ethic with excellent time management skills
- Able to work both unsupervised and within a team environment
- Reliable, honest and good communication skills

- Be well presented, punctual and efficient

**_Previous handyman and Trades Qualification will be highly regarded but not essential._**
