**About the role**
As a thriving business that’s scaling rapidly, the Retail Area Manager will lead the integration of sales, operations and customer service across retail outlets. Working closely with Store Managers, the Retail Area Manager is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that drive growth, inspire store teams and ensure an exceptional customer experience. With a keen understanding of the market, this dynamic leader excels at building strong relationships, while cultivating a high-performing and customer-focused environment.
**Key responsibilities**
- Customer Service Excellence: Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service and creating a warm, memorable in-store experience.
- Brand Ambassador: Build and nurture relationships with customers, embodying and promoting our brand spirit to cultivate a loyal customer base.
- Sales and Performance Management: Develop and drive sales and exceed targets by maintaining high visual merchandising standards, sharing in-depth product knowledge and implementing effective sales strategies.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and replenishment processes to ensure the store remains well-stocked and visually appealing.
- Team Leadership and Development: Recruit, train and manage retail staff ensuring alignment with the brand’s culture.
- Budgeting and Financial Management: Develop and manage the retail budget, ensuring cost control and profitability.
- Visual Merchandising: Ensure that visual merchandising standards and directives are consistently implemented and maintained.
- Loss Prevention: Monitor store activities to prevent and address potential loss or theft.
- Customer Feedback: Collect and analyse customer feedback to refine product offerings and enhance overall service quality.

- Results-driven with high attention to detail, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record in delivering exceptional customer service.
- Experienced in managing multi-site retail stores with expertise in recruitment, training and development, inventory management and reporting.
- Proactive in addresses change and challenges.
- Willing to travel as needed.
