**Full Time Mental Health Clinician - Acute Function**

**Melton Community Mental Health Team**

This is an opportunity to work in an expanding growth corridor of metropolitan Melbourne. The role holds a focus on direct clinical care for a small caseload of consumers with complex and diverse needs alongside work on the acute community intervention function. Acute community work is fast paced and dynamic, you will be required to work a roster over seven-days a week, alternating between day and evening shifts. There is a significant element of outreach work, liaising with a range of community services to meet the needs of acutely unwell people. This role will enable you to develop your clinical skills and work closely with a range of stakeholders for the benefit of registered consumers.

**To be Successful in This Role You Will**
- Lead with kindness, role modelling open communication and a desire to support and enhance clinical care across the team
- Demonstrate your experience working as a mental health clinician within a multidisciplinary care team in a community setting
- Have experience of working within acute community services
- Have a well-developed ability to assess and document mental state and risk
- Pro-actively contribute to innovative service planning and development
