**About Us**:
Essential Personnel Services (EPS) is a locally owned, family business with a passion and drive for success, through lunatic thinking, being focused and caring for our community. We pride ourselves in having qualified and trained casual workforce in the Community Services industry, primarily in Youth Justice and Residential Care throughout Victoria.
**Your new role**:
You will ead and coordinate all People & Culture activities across the EPS business, including providing accurate and informed advice, documentation and reporting to all employees and management.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Primary point of contact for all People & Culture related queries;
- Ensure the business compliance to all Human Resources relevant legislation and regulations; including dispute resolution, investigations and grievance management.
- Updating and maintaining the Human Resources Information System;
- Generate Human Resources documentation i.e. Contracts and Letters of Offer;
- Oversee all People & Culture Administration;
- Conduct and coordinate Recruitment & Training activities
**Main Duties**:
- Lead the recruitment & employment of both field and office staff including drafting advertisements, shortlisting, interviewing, training and conducting reference checks.
- Generate and maintain HR correspondence and documentation, including new starter, induction and changes of employment documentation.
- Lead and/or Coordinate Dispute Resolution, Investigations and Grievance Management for Staff/Clients.
- Monitoring training records and prompting training needs and assisting
- Maintenance of the probationary review registers and working with the Managers throughout this period.
- Attending to both internal and external HR enquiries including staff & client queries
- Providing general administrative support to the business, peers and colleagues.
- Regular review and maintenance of HR policies, procedures, guidelines and job descriptions.
- Act as a contact point for general enquiries in relation to HR.
- Assist with the performance management process including preparing performance management documentation, coordinating disciplinary meetings and providing guidance and support to supervisors
- Contribute to the research, development and implementation of WHS policies and procedures
- Maintain employee files ensuring that confidentiality is maintained at all times
**Requirements**:
- Tertiary qualified in Human Resources/Recruitment Management or a related discipline (preferred);
- Minimum of 2-3 years' HR/Recruitment experience;
- Ability to effectively communicate with people on all levels
- Strong people management skills
- Excellent written and verbal English
- Intermediate level computer skills
**Salary**: From $31.00 per hour
