Looking for a role that will stretch, challenge and reward you?
Servicing the pets supplies market, this is a growing business with a strong eCommerce footprint.
Ideally experience within the industry and connections with suppliers would be beneficial, however more important will be the skills you have gained running a category, within either a retail OR a wholesale business.
The categories are divided into Food and Accessories.
Primarily, your goal will be to build and maintain a range of products that best meet the needs of the customer base,
As a Category Manager, as well as assembling your range, you will be required to undertake regular range reviews that factor in sales performance and opportunities, shifts in market trends and customer behaviours.
This will need to be accompanied by sound category management principles such as regular range review, effective master data file maintenance, supplier relationships, and marketing plans.
You reach your customers primarily via online channels.
Your best results will come by taking advantage of your significant skills in building meaningful relationships with your critical stakeholders.
To be considered for this role, you will need to bring experience in two main areas.
Firstly, you will need to have well developed category management skills, having built and maintained a range and developed a sales base via a branch and field based network.
Secondly, you will have experience dealing within the Pet industry.
You can add to that a positive, team oriented attitude, and the ability to work as part of a team.
