**About Your Role**

Lithgow small arms facility designs, develops and manufactures a range of small arms for the civilian and military market place.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role is responsible for providing mechanical repair, maintenance and responding to breakdown and preventative maintenance requirements.
- Responding to mechanical maintenance needs
- Using problem solving skills, establish and enact the best solution to the requirement, within the scope of skill and experience
- Identifying necessary replacement parts and source, manufacture or repair as appropriate
- Ensuring safety and functionality of equipment before recommission/hand over
- Complying with and ensure compliance of all relevant Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental legislative requirements, policies, procedures and frameworks

**How About You?**
- Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or equivalent
- Previous experience in fault finding, repair and maintenance of CNC machine tools would be desirable
- Ability to identify, assess and manage risks with mínimal supervision
