**Maths and English Tutors Needed for Tutoring Centre Located in Five Dock**

Aptitude Education is a tutoring centre currently offering both small group and individual tutoring to Preschool to Year 12 students. We provide tutors with high level professional and administrative support. With an increasing number of clients seeking our services, we need more great tutors.

**Requirements for Maths and English Tutors**:

- A passion for making a difference in student's lives and an encouraging approach.
- Reliability - we need to our tutors to be committed to providing quality tutoring to our clients
- Reliable transport - you need to have a vehicle to get to tutoring sessions or have easy access to public transport.
- Be personable and easy to get along with.
- Availability to work at least four hours per week
- A strong command of the English language.
- **Must have completed all your education in Australia**:

- Some tutoring/coaching experience would be a bonus
- Must have a current Working With Children Check or be willing to get one

**Responsibilities of Tutors**:

- Conduct scheduled lessons with individual students and groups
- Report progress of students
- Collaborate to formulate a plan and strategy for students based on their needs
- Seek help from us if and when you need it

**Ideal Previous Experience or Similar Positions**

If you have any experience with teaching and tutoring in the past that is a bonus. On the job training can be provided. Any university students doing an education degree would also be a bonus.
