**About us**

We are looking for energetic, engaging and experienced **FEMALE **support workers to join our team in **Wollongong **to work within our **Supported independent Living**. Our participant requires support 20 hours per day, and shifts range from 4-10 active hours. You must be available for afternoon and sleepover shifts.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Professional experience supporting someone with a disability and complex behaviours.
- An understanding of the disability sector and person-centred support.
- Strong communication skills, and a therapeutic approach.
- Flexible availability & a long-term commitment to the organisation.
- Comfortable with personal care.

**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Assistance with community access and recreational activities.
- Personal care (showering, toileting, and hygiene assistance).
- Manual handling and the use of wheelchairs & hoists.
- Transportation and social engagement.
- Light domestic duties such as meal preparation and cleaning.
- Behavioural and Mental Health Support.
- Following Behaviour Management Plans.
- Promote and empower participants to achieve their NDIS goals.
- Completing documentation and case notes.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $30.00 - $39.00 per hour

- Working with Children Check (preferred)
