**Position Summary**:
Supply products as ordered by customers and branches. Monitor the picking of product, effective consolidation of product and the appropriate packing of products to ensure that they arrive at our customers’ premises in excellent condition. Manage the store and related systems and processes accurately and efficiently.

**Responsibilities**:

- Day-to-day responsibility for all facets of the internal administration of the warehouse/store.
- Responsible for the efficient operation of the store and receiving and despatch of all goods
- Packing and unpacking of deliveries to the store and preparation of outbound customer orders, organising of transport and couriers and the processing of other branch administration paperwork.
- Up keep of the store is to be kept clean and the well organised to facilitate the efficient dispatch and receiving of goods.
- Eliminate the supply of wrong or damaged product.
- Ensure products are stored in correct location with correct labelling.
- Ensure that all goods to be despatched are correctly packaged.
- Ensure accuracy of picking lists, prior to despatch of goods.
- Ensure that packing lists are printed correctly and despatched with each shipment.
- Internal sales, supporting customers with knowledge of products
- Promote a safety culture in the workplace to reduce workplace injuries by (a) complying with company’s safety policies, safe operating procedures and processes, and (b) identifying and reporting safety hazards when identified.

**Role Requirements**:

- Current forklift licence
- Experience working in distribution, with a customer service focus
- Understanding of the transport industry highly desirable
- SAP
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent time management skills and ability to handle a wide variety of tasks simultaneously
- Computer literate
