We seek a person to manage our Brisbane Coldstore. Hours of work would be approximately Monday to Friday, 5:30am - 2:30pm.

Fresh Meats is a leading supplier of meat products to restaurants in Queensland, based on the Sunshine Coast. We deliver to customers across the state and also operate a retail store in Maroochydore. We have warehousing in 3 locations: Maroochydore, Kunda Park and Brisbane..

This individual is solutions-oriented, hands-on and works well independently to see the job through to completion. You have initiative to plan ahead, are organised and systematic, work collaboratively with others to achieve the shared company goals and have the drive and determination to close out.

**Role and Responsibilities**

The main activities include, but are not limited to:

- Oversee and manage the pick, pack and rotation process, ensuring efficiency and accuracy
- Maintain order and cleanliness of warehouse and systems
- Manage team members with a focus on performance and continued professional development.
- Support the implementation of initiatives and develop a culture of continuous improvement to maximise operational efficiency.
- Implement of WH&S initiatives and ensure the safety of all team members, suppliers, and contractors.
- Ensure all legislative, Food Safety and HACCP compliance regulations are adhered to.
- Communicate closely with Operations, Logistics and Management to ensure overall shared objectives are achieved

**Qualifications and Education Requirements**
- has the willingness and stamina for physical workload
- Is capable of moving heavy pallets with a pallet jack
- Feels comfortable with changes of demand and can pivot as needed
- Is proactive in finding solutions to always close out and finish the job

**Salary**: $32.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 - 50 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Lytton, QLD 4178: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
