**About the role**
An open opportunity for an enthusiastic Payroll Officer to join a multi-national Construction company in North Sydney on an initial contract. This business is a market leader in their industry and works in an organised payroll team of 9 members. The role is suited to someone who is passionate about Payroll, and looking to grow their career in a high Volume environment.

**The Responsibilities**
- Process time sheets, including overtime for casuals etc
- Process staff movements including new starters, departures and other movements
- Work within two teams: Wage/Salary
- Preparing manual payments when required
- Assisting Finance team on queries and reports

**The successful applicant will have**
- Exposure to working in a high-volume payroll environment
- Previous experience using a large payroll system (E.g Micropay, Preceda, Chris21)
- Experience with a wide range of EBAs and Awards
- Strong Excel and numeracy skills
- Prior experience working in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
