Applications are invited from eligible Clinicians (Consultants / Clinical Academics / Visiting Medical Specialist) for the role of Medical Lead within the following Clinical Programs:

- Acute & Urgent Care, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital
- Cancer
- Critical Care & Perioperative Services, Royal Adelaide Hospital
- Heart & Lung
- Surgery 1
- Surgery 2

**Overview of Role**

The Medical Lead will contribute to the achievement of key performance indicators, strategic and operational deliverables for their respective program.

The role will provide medical leadership and governance for all clinical work, and contribute to service planning, within the program. The role works across Central Adelaide Local Health Network sites unless otherwise specified.

The Medical Lead is accountable for the medical leadership and governance within their respective Program within Central Adelaide Local Health Network.

**Essential Minimum Requirements**:

- Appropriate Specialist Qualifications for Consultant registerable as a Specialist with the Medical Board of Australia
- Hold and maintain appropriate registrations with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)

**To Be Successful in this Role**

Holding appropriate specialist qualifications for a Consultant, you will be registered as a Specialist with the Medical Board of Australia. You will demonstrate experience in a Senior Clinical leadership role, including experience in the planning and provision of health services. This will be supported by your proven leadership skills and ability to motivate others. Successfully leading professional groups to achieve best practice clinical outcomes, you will have the capacity to establish and maintain productive working relationships with a diverse range of professional staff.
