Cleaning Supervisor

**About the Role**

We are currently seeking a driven, eager, and reliable **Cleaning Supervisor **for a permanent full-time position Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm, commencing immediately in the Southern Suburbs. A rare and unique opportunity in a team-orientated environment, working amongst other area supervisors and closely supported by the onsite manager.

The cleaning supervisor is responsible for overseeing a team of 15 cleaners and delivering the day to day cleaning requirements of the contract, including; ensuring the delivery of the contracted scope of work, training, scheduling periodical cleaning, completing toolbox talks, conducting cleaning inspections, responding to cleaning requests, stock management and control.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Supervising and managing a team of 15 commercial cleaners
- Responding to cleaning requests within the required timeframe and delegating work
- Overseeing the day to day cleaning operations, including; assigning tasks, scheduling, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, resolving problems
- Conduct cleaning inspections via the nominated app
- Ability to establish effective working relationships, both internally and externally
- Be able to deliver exceptional client satisfaction and respond to all client requests
- Stock management, including weekly stocktakes and monthly orders for equipment & consumables
- Ensure compliance with all WHS, Quality & Environmental procedures and legislation

- General cleaning duties as required: vacuuming/ mopping floors, cleaning & disinfecting desks and hard surfaces, cleaning of bathroom facilities, glass cleaning and emptying & moving bins.

A laptop, iPad and iPhone are provided as part of the position.

**About you**

Essential requirements:

- Previous Commercial Cleaning experience
- Demonstrated previous experience in a similar supervisory role
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Display compassion and empathy
- Able to pass and willing to obtain both a DCSI (within 3 years) & National Police Clearance (within 12 months)
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Strong time management skills
- A fantastic work ethic & positive attitude
- High customer service skills with a friendly demeanour
- High standard of work, cleanliness, and attention to detail
- Own reliable transport to get to and from work
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical
- Demonstrated the ability to work independently
- Have a smartphone to clock in and out of shifts
- Availability to work across Monday to Friday
