**About the role**
We are seeking a Full-Time Passive Fire Penetration Specialist who ideally has experience or experience within a similar role.
In this role you will work both independently and within a small team across the duration of the project. You’ll have a great eye for detail to ensure your work is consistent to meet clients and building codes needs.

**The primary duties will include**:
- Conduct thorough assessments of buildings to identify potential fire penetration risks.
- Design and implement effective fire penetration systems, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
- Install, test, and maintain fire penetration solutions, including fire-rated walls, floors, and other structural elements.
- Collaborate with project teams, architects, and engineers to integrate fire penetration measures seamlessly into building designs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, codes, and regulations related to fire penetration systems.
- Provide training and guidance to other team members on fire penetration best practices.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as a Fire Penetration Specialist or qualifications in carpentry or trade highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of fire codes, standards, and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications and licenses are highly desirable.
**Other duties may include**:
- Supporting other PROFINISH teams for various passive fire installations such as Speedpanel, fire rated board and fire stopping penetrations.

- Scissor Lift ticket
- Current Working with Children's Check
- Experience working on Union sites
- Proficient with a range of power tools
- Desirable:_
- Boom lift ticket
- Experience in the passive fire field
- Trade background: eg carpentry
- Current Police Check
- Working with Children Check
