**About the opportunity**:
We are looking for a Head of APAC Technology Risk and Control Squad who is passionate and experienced inoperating a first-line technology risk, control, compliance and assurance function, with the goal of maturing Bupa’s approach to managing technology risk and compliance enabling leaders to make risk-informed decisions and take responsible action in the best interests of Bupa’s customers.

**How will I help?**

The role is responsible for embedding and operating a first-line risk, control, compliance and assurance function within Technology to enable accountable Technology Leaders to appropriately identify, assess and manage technology-related risk and compliance in the Asia-Pacific Market Unit.

You will play an integral role in helping to continuously improvethe first-line technology risk function through the introduction of digital enablers and intelligent data strategies that mature and transform the first-line Technology risk and control practice, keeping it in line with the latest innovations and capitalising on the benefits of modern technologies.

Key responsibilities include:

- Lead the Technology Risk and Controls team to execute high quality risk management in alignment with the Bupa Enterprise RMF, establish and maintain risk-focused technology controls that address technology risk and compliance requirements, and design and manage a 1st line assurance and audit engagement program to provide management with valued insights and advice on risk management strategies and improvements to support the Bupa APAC MU.
- Develop and execute a first-line Technology risk, control, compliance and assurance strategy to mature the function and keep pace with industry practice and capability maturity model standards.
- Oversee, operate and continuously improve a technology risk governance capability that supports accountable Technology Leaders in the effective management of Risk forums and committees in alignment with enterprise governance requirements and expectations of the Chief Risk Office.
- Develop a first line technology risk consultancy capability to support accountable leaders to appropriately identify, assess and manage risk, meet enterprise and regulatory compliance requirements, and provide appropriate levels of assurance to executive and board members.
- Develop and expand the capability and capacity of the Technology function across APAC to effectively manage risk, compliance and assurance responsibilities within the Bupa technology environment with due diligence and care, in alignment with the RMF.
- Introduce new technologies and capabilities to leverage data and automation to uplift technology risk and control management and reporting in a manner that enriches the value and timeliness of risk insights and simplifies, optimises and transforms the services.
- Work closely with accountable Technology leaders to provide proactive risk and controls expertise to Technology projects, programs, teams and services to reduce residual risk in change.

**What do I need?**

Ideal experience & delivered performance
- Experience leading and developing an effective team of Technology and Information Security Risk, Compliance and Assurance specialists.
- Demonstrated ability as a technology leader who has successfully introduced technologies, data analytics and visualisation capabilities that uplift and modernise technology risk, compliance and assurance practices across the enterprise.
- Extensive knowledge of information and technology risk management methods and industry standards and frameworks such as ISO, COSO, CRISC, COBIT, CISA, TOGAF, NIST, CIS18, and related
