**About the Role**
Maintain the safety and integrity of the Brisbane Airport Rail Link by carrying out inspections, assessments and maintenance of the track and associated structures. Duties include:

- Inspect, measure, report and record within prescribed standards the condition of the track and associated infrastructure and environment (i.e. sleepers, rail gauge, alignment, super elevation, platform clearances, rail creep, anchors, fastenings, joints, ballast, turn-outs, switching devices, rail lubrications, bridges and culverts, cuttings and embankments, water drainage, signs, speed boards, vegetation growth etc.)
- Diagnose and report existing and potential track faults
- Report to Train Control on track activities and rolling stock irregularities
- General maintenance associated with stations, offices, rail corridor
- Assist with developing the ongoing improvement of maintenance plans, technical instructions and procedures that deliver improved productivity

**Required Skills and Experience**
- Relevant trade / technical experience
- Knowledge and ability to implement the principles of Rail Safety
- TLIB3094 Check and Repair Track Geometry
- TLIB3099 Examine Track Infrastructure
- TLIB3100 Visually Inspect Track Infrastructure
- Construction white card
- Current drivers’ licence
- First aid, CPR and LVR
- Must be available to be on call on alternating weekends
- Must have full working rights in Australia
