Interior Designer

Based in Sydney Australia, **FEA (Group) Pty Ltd trading as **Creative Nine has been an active member of the design industry since 2010. Throughout the years, we have been contributing to numerous projects in the Retail and Hospitality environment from the smallest food and beverage projects to large multi-use mix retail complexes. Currently with office in Sydney, Creative Nine has successfully delivered projects in many cities and states in Australia. **Position**:We are looking for a full time **Interior Designer** with at least 2 years of experience and has graduated from University. **POSITION Summary** Term of EmploymentFull time Position/TitleInterior Designer SupervisorSenior Designer and Director Place of WorkLevel 8, 299 Sussex St Sydney NSW 2000 Hours of WorkMonday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm with an hour for lunch Remuneration PackageSalary range from: $70,000 to $75,000 Plus SuperSuperannuation: National standard is 11.5% as of now **Position Description **ObjectiveDeliver of design independently with strong vision of design direction and innovative design skills; work together with other team members to build the group profile and capabilities. Responsibilities and AccountabilitiesUnder the direction of the Director/s and or Senior Designer as appropriate:

- Understanding the design brief provided and interprets design brief into conceptual design.
- Produce mood board, perspective and construction documentation.
- Self-manage work efficiency to suit the project timeframe and quality requirement.
- Collaboration of design resources from Architect, Graphic Designer, Interior Designer, Drafter, Project Managers as well as Office Administrator.
- To manage the overall process of design and have an over-view of the fit-out.
- To monitor the work efficiency and manage workflow in strategic and timely manner.
- Co-ordinate with Authorities, Consultants, Contractors and Landlord in design and project delivery.
- Concept design and design documentation review to minimise risk of human error and ensure the accuracy and quality of work.
- Attend pre-fitout commencement meeting with contractors.
- Successfully complete a minimum of 20 design projects per year. Project must be completed in a timely and efficient manner, with minimum error.
- Strictly follow Company Design Guideline in documentation and delivery design in a professional manner.
- Building professional knowledge and expand industry connections for the benefit of the team’s development.
- Coordinate with the remote office and assist in liaison daily work where required.
- Manage material library, establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to build company presence. Inspire the rest of the team with up-to-date industry knowledge, such as materials, building codes and design inspirations.
- Organise and attend client meetings, produce design briefs and be able to brief another designers on the design intent.
- Site visits and factory visits to work with the shopfitter/builders to ensure the smooth delivery of the project.
- Meet and complete all pre-assigned KPI annually. KPI to be reviewed annually, with 6 months review.
- In addition to the primary role and responsibility as an Interior Designer/Concept, provide guidance to junior or medium level designers where required. To monitor the work efficiency of the design team and manage workflow in strategic and timely manner, where required.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
