LogiHire is proud to partner with one of the world's largest and most trusted Freight Forwarders as we assist in growing their Customs and Classifier's team.

We have an exciting opportunity for dynamic individuals interested in the field of import/export classification and customs brokerage. This role is part of a dedicated team within a globally networked, fast growing enterprise, renowned for its commitment to employees and clients.

This role is based in their amazing North Brisbane offices Monday through Friday.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Customs Clearance & Compliance**: Oversee and manage the entire customs clearance process, ensuring compliance with Australian laws and international regulations.
- **Client Consultation**: Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding customs matters, providing expert advice and solutions to facilitate the import/export process.
- **Regulatory Updates**: Stay abreast of changes in customs legislation and regulations, informing both clients and internal teams of relevant updates.
- **Documentation and Record-Keeping**: Ensure accurate and thorough documentation for all customs activities, maintaining records in accordance with legal requirements.

**About You**:

- **Certified Customs Broker**: Hold current customs broker license with a strong understanding of Australian customs and international trade regulations.
- **Experience**: Proven track record in customs brokerage, with at least 3 years of experience, preferably in a freight forwarding or logistics environment.
- **Problem-Solver**: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of navigating complex regulatory environments.
- **Communication**: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and regulatory authorities.
- **Team Player**: Committed to contributing to a team's success while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
