**Practice Lead - Project Management PERTH**

RPS has an established client-side project management consulting business in Australia Asia Pacific, with over 400 project management staff. The RPS Project Management team in Perth currently consists of 45 staff and is continuing to grow. We have a strong workbook for 2025 and beyond, with key long-term projects in delivery underwriting our business.

**About the Role**

As one of the Practice Leads, you’ll oversee the development and delivery of your Teams business plan. You’ll be responsible for strategic leadership, client relationship management, financial performance, and team capability development and recruitment. Reporting to the General Manager and part of the WA leadership team, you’ll ensure high-quality, profitable project outcomes aligned with RPS's national and global strategy.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead, manage, and grow the West Australian Project Management practice
- Drive business development and client engagement initiatives
- Oversee financial performance and project profitability
- Ensure timely, high-quality project delivery across a diverse portfolio
- Foster a collaborative and empowered team culture
- Guide project planning, procurement, and resourcing strategies
- Mentor, develop and recruit staff

**About You**
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
- Certified Practicing Project Director (AIPM) or equivalent preferred

Proven track record in
- project and/or people leadership of a team of 25+ staff, successfully delivering large mixed use building projects $50M+
- strategic client engagement and securing new work,
- financial management, responsible for P&L and reporting.
- Deep understanding of contemporary construction, engineering, and project delivery methodologies
- Experience in contract management
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Eligible for Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance
