Job Details

As a result of the continued growth of our group we are expanding our Human Resources department and an opportunity has arisen for a Human Resources Officer to join our team based at Somersby on the Central Coast.

This role will provide exposure to and involvement in all Human Resources activities, including:

- Recruitment and selection
- Generalist employee advice and support to supervisors and managers
- Assisting with the processing of our weekly payroll
- Administration of our HRIS and timekeeping system
- Conducting HR inductions for new employees
- Implementation of new company-wide HR initiatives

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Previous experience within a Human Resources team. Experience within a blue collar industry such as manufacturing or logistics would be an advantage but is not a strict requirement.
- An understanding of the Employment Relations framework, including Industrial Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
- A high level of attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong interpersonal skills with a history of building effective relationships with different levels of stakeholders
- The ability to make decisions demonstrating diplomacy and resilience in challenging circumstances
- Problem solving and time management skills including the ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines
- A positive mindset and ability to work within a collaborative team environment
