**Commercial Manager (Energy)**

**Johns Lyng Energy** are looking for a
**Commercial Manager** to provide leadership across various front-end functions, including technical sales, engineering, and estimating whilst also being responsible for developing and converting pipeline opportunities.

**This position offers full-time, stable employment, Monday to Friday.**

**Your Key Responsibilities**:

- Grow, Develop and Lead a commercial division.
- Develop & optimise the commercial process and customer journey.
- Develop and manage a pipeline of projects.
- Foster and develop a high performing team across the service portfolio.
- Assist in organising and planning project estimation through to execution.
- Lead all technical and commercial client solutions.
- Develop tender’s responses.
- Manage sub-contractor services including design, procurement & engineering.
- Manage supply chains for optimising the commercial outcome.
- Contribute to company growth and development to ensure the success of our core company goals are met as well as, developing sustainable business processes.

**About you**:

- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships is key
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Commerce and/or equivalent relevant experience
- Extensive experience in Energy, or utility industries with a detailed technical understanding of the electricity industry including storage systems.
- Strong understanding of Australia's Energy regulatory framework, National Electricity Law and Rules shaping business operating parameters
- Understanding of the commercial drivers of energy markets and an ability to develop new technical solutions for customers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to be able to influence and present at senior level including interpersonal, stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of the energy and utility sector, and technical challenges of Australia's energy transition
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in new technologies, start-ups, scale-ups, or business innovation frameworks.
- Skills and knowledge of commercial, market and industry analysis
- Proven ability to foster, develop, implement, lead effective teams and commercial and technical systems.
- Valid Australian driver’s license
