Experienced Painting Specialist

You will need to have at least 3 years experience in painting and coatings, be able to pass pre-employment and random drug tests, have a manual drivers licence, and have a strong team work ethic.

Great hourly and penalty rates dependent on experience.

This role will include:

- Setting up and protecting work areas and surfaces with drop sheets, and by taping protective plastic
- Preparing surfaces by sanding, grinding, to ensure reading to accept coating
- Preparing paint by drill mixing, mixing additives and colours
- Make good of work areas by cleaning and disposing of materials as per company environmental policy
- Safety Administrative duties
- On line software reporting
- Surface preparation and sealing
- May involve some hardware installation

Skills Required:

- Minimum three years painting experience
- Full Manual Driver’s Licence
- General Induction White Card
- Ability to work within a team and individually
- Ability to take constructive criticism to learn and develop
- Good Verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read plans, and other work scope
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, rostered weekends and travel where required.

**Salary**: $65,087.51 - $90,000.00 per year

- Evening shift
- Shift work
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

- Girraween, NSW 2145: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
