**The Company**:
Based in the south eastern suburbs, an Australian owned FMCG manufacturer of dry food goods. The company has a strong team culture built on loyalty and respect of employees' hard work.

**Duties include but are not limited to**:

- Reviewing client requirements and implementing them as required by the business
- Checking Certificates of Analysis for raw materials against chemical and microbiological specifications
- Participate in regulatory and client audits with the QA Manager
- Conduct Internal audits of GMP and HACCP plans
- Handling consumer complaints in a timely manner - preparing monthly reporting
- Producing, updating and issuing internal product specifications
- Undertaking daily verification of production, Critical Control Points, quality and cleaning records
- Maintain update of all quality related systems and communicate all necessary changes to relevant staff
- Liaise and communicate with line staff, quality and production management
- Check production codes, traceability record and release of finished goods
- Reviewing production paperwork to ensure all information is correct
- Performing all other QA/QC related duties as directed by Quality Manager

**Who you are**:

- Prior experience in quality control within the food manufacturing sector highly regarded; although training and support will be provided by the team to a person who has a positive hands-on approach and willingness to learn
- Tertiary qualified Food Technologist/Chemistry/Microbiology or other relevant field an advantage
- Proficient in MS Office i.e Excel, Word etc
- High attention to detail, process and procedures
- Ability to multi-task with good organisational skills
- Strong communication skills
