**What We Are Looking For**:
Our company is looking for Director of Service on a Full-time basis. As Director of Service, Responsible for the management of the before, after and Holiday Care and supervision of children and educators, under the guidance of the Area Manager. You will play a crucial role in to Plan, deliver and evaluate the Service which is both operationally and commercially viable and which effectively delivers company goals and strategies. Provide transparent, predictable and fair leadership with delegated areas of authority to the Operation steam via operational knowledge, and empower, develop team members.

**Qualifications and other requirements**:

- Experience in OSHC is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in the early childhood education sector
- Qualified or studying towards an ACECQA approved diploma or above qualification This includes (Teaching Degrees, Education Support, Children Services, Early Childhood Education, Sports Science, Youth Work) or VIC/NSW: Working with Children Check
- Adequate knowledge and understanding of the provision of education and care to children
- The ability to effectively supervise and manage an education and care service
- Experience managing groups of children

**Responsibility**:

- Create a safe, friendly, and engaging environment for children
- Managing groups of children from age 5 - 12 (large age range at once) Building strong and trusting relationships with the children, families, teacher, principal and school community relationship management.
- Managing the rosters
- Planning an educational and play based program for the age range stated above, using the MTOP framework.
- Ensuring the service is ran in a safe manner as guided by the National Quality Standards - NQS.
- Menu planning and preparing meals for large groups of children
- Managing medical management plans, allergies, medications - ensuring menu is reflective of known allergens.
- Managing challenging behaviours and putting strategies in place to support behaviour, creating behaviour support plans BSP.
- Attending school events and assemblies - you are the face of the company.
- Attending training sessions
- Ensuring the quality improvement plan is complete and up to date, and being part of assessment and rating should it happen at the service.
- Working in school holidays - block shifts.
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations, ensuring a safe environment for all children in the classroom.

Pay: $71,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- early childhood education sector: 2 years (preferred)
- OSHC: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- ACECQA approved diploma or above qualification (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
