**Role Description/Criteria**

**The role**

Loreto Toorak provides opportunities for students to engage in a wide variety of sporting pursuits. Our Athletics, Triathlon and Cross-Country programs aim to create challenging and enriching experiences allowing our students to flourish, learn and lead. We aspire to be a leading school in athletics programs.

Reporting to the Director of Programs through the Head of Carnival Sport, this role is responsible for the management and coordination of Athletics, Triathlon and Cross Country training sessions, classes and events across the school from Years P-12 from recreational participation through to the highest levels of school competition.

Responsibilities of the role will include:

- Leadership of and responsibility for the coordination of all athletics, triathlon and cross country commitments.
- Coordination of all training sessions providing high quality coaching
- Provide leadership and mentoring to Loreto Toorak coaches
- Attendance at competitions and managing the end to end coordination and administration components
- Support for students on pathways for state and national selection and engagement of students interested in recreational participation
- Other duties as outlined in the position description
