**Join Our Team**

We are looking for a **motivated and skilled Range Operator**, you'll play a key role in managing Defence training areas and ranges, ensuring safety and efficiency in a technically complex environment. Working as part of the Training Area and Range Management (TARM) team, you'll liaise with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality services under the Defence EMOS contract. This is a hands-on role that requires professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to exemplary customer service.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- _Participate and Deliver Range Services Daily Briefings, _
- _Use of Range Communications, _
- _Work in Remote Locations, _
- _Work with Target Systems, _
- _Work in Support of Army Exercises. _
- _Work in a small team environment, _
- _Lifting and manual handling. _
- _Use Defence Computer or Paper Bases System to read and advise on customer booking enquiries _
- _Facilitate movement onto and off the Range area _
- _Conduct Range maintenance as allocated _
- _Be a member of the Fire Response Team _

**About You**:

- _Suitability for Defence security clearance (Australian citizenship mandatory) _
- _Intermediate literacy and computer skills _
- _Must hold a current MR (or higher) Australian Drivers Licence _
- _Must have or be capable of attaining a workplace first aid qualification to National Certificate Level 2 standard _
- _Must have or be capable of attaining current operator licences for all Range vehicles and equipment _
- _Must have or be capable of attaining Fire Qualifications in Wildfire Response and Suppression _
