**The Role**
Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) is responsible for skills assessments for a range of technical and trade occupations under the Migration Regulations 1994, offering skills assessment services for people with trade skills gained overseas or in Australia, for the purpose of migration.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
Responsibilities of the EL1 Program Manager may include:

- Demonstrated program delivery and/or management experience.
- Proactively undertake analysis and prepare research, data and policy advice in relation to skills assessments and skilled migration.
- Use evidence from research, data analysis and evaluation activities to inform policy, project delivery and sector regulation around skills assessments, including making recommendations about potential improvements within the context of the Government’s broader agenda for skilled migration,
- Manage staff, including mentoring, guiding, supporting and developing team members, and
- Ability to effectively manage and support a team that is located across multiple locations
- Help deliver strategic projects commissioned to guide the delivery of best practice skills assessments to effectively support skilled migration.
- Supporting other branch functions as part of the leadership team, as needed.
