Accounts Payable Clerk

Based at Banyo in Brisbane **Triple Eight Race Engineering** is the home to some of the most recognisable motorsport brands in Australia including the Redbull Ampol Racing Team. We are a professional racing team competing in the Supercars series in Australia and GT Racing in Australia, Asia and Europe racing Mercedes AMG cars. Triple Eight Race Engineering do more than race cars, we design, engineer and manufacture to various industries including professional motorsport teams, the aviation industry and the broader motorsport industry. We sell AMG Mercedes parts to AMG Customer Racing clients throughout Australia and New Zealand and we support motorsport customers with technical support.

Seeking a permanent part time experienced Accounts Payable Officer. Prime location in Banyo. 32 hours per week, can be spread across 4 or 5 days. On-site role with flexible start and finish times, to suit school drop off and pick ups

**About the role**:
The Accounts Payable Officer plays a key role in ensuring accurate and efficient processing of supplier invoices, employee reimbursements, and vendor payments. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks within a fast-paced finance environment.
- High volume data entry and processing of invoices into the system
- Accurate and fast processing of invoices (accounts payable)
- Ability to pick up errors and gain an understanding of new systems and new information
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for auditing purposes
- Assist in month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
- Assist with ad hoc tasks as required by the finance team

**Skills and Experience**:

- 2 years + experience in Accounts Payable and a similar role
- Strong systems exposure, MS, Excel, Office along with MYOB or similar ERP highly regarded
- High attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously and communicate well within a team
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $55,065.42 - $85,043.78 per year

Expected hours: 24 - 32 per week
