Currently at Easygo we are hiring for a Barista All-rounder to join our Workplace Experience team You will be working and reporting to our current wonderful, amazing, beautiful, absolutely out-of-this-world in-house Barista (And no, she did not write this job ad, she just deserves the hype). This position is quite unique to other hospitality roles as there is no public facing element to it, your customers are actually your co-workers and colleagues, so no babycinos

**Your role with us**:
You will be working VERY closely and reporting to our current Barista. You will have had a few years of experience in specialty coffee and front of house duties. You will be making various drinks such as coffees, smoothies, juices, teas, tidying up the café and our multiple kitchens across our current four floors. You will also help with stocking and packing with deliveries we receive, across our six flours.

Personally, you will be a friendly and approachable individual, who can have a laugh and joke around with your colleagues whilst also maintaining focus in your tasks. You have previously worked in high pressure and stressful environments and are knowledgeable across menu and coffee items.

**What and who you will be working with**:

- Code Black speciality coffee
- La Marzocco coffee machine
- 18kgs of coffee a week and growing
- Minimum of 200 drinks a day across coffees, smoothies and juices

We currently have a whole team of Workplace Specialists, who you will be joining. They help ensure our office runs as smoothly as it does by being behind all of our free snacks, drinks, daily breakfast, and also help organise our events and parma Fridays and plenty more This role will also give you an opportunity to do other things that aren’t always café and barista focused.

As mentioned before, you will be supported by our current Barista and this position is Monday to Friday, from 9am - 5pm.

**What you will do: (Role responsibilities)**
- Beverage preparation by preparing a variety of coffee and tea beverages, such as espresso, cappuccino, latte, mocha and iced coffees, follow the recipes and standards set by the café
- Operating the espresso machine proficiently, ensuring that the coffee is brewed to the correct specifications, including adjusting grind settings, tamping and monitoring extraction times
- Providing excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, answering questions, and making recommendations based on the customers preferences, whilst also engaging with customers, building rapport, and create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in the café
- Being well informed about the cafes menu offerings, including coffee varieties and allergies of staff members and personal preferences
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, including the espresso machine, coffee grinder and other equipment. Regularly clean and sanitise all work surfaces and utensils
- Ensuring that the quality of beverages meets the cafes standards by tasting and adjusting as necessary
- Managing multiple orders simultaneously, efficiently preparing drinks while maintaining quality and minimizing wait times
- Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handwashing, food storage and temperature control
- Assist with managing incoming deliveries, stocking of snack shelves and drink fridges, ensuring that the snack shelves, fridges and break areas are kept clean and tidy

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 4 years’ experience working in high volume specialty coffee
- Flexible and adaptable, with experience in working in a dynamic and changing environment
- Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
- Dependable, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality
- Collaborative and able to work well with others
- A strong work ethic with a customer-focus and positive attitude
