The Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Gardener to join our Retirement Living business, based at our Buderim Gardens Village.

Set amongst rainforest and luscious parklands, a short walk from Mooloolaba Beach, this coastal community offers quality facilities and a vibrant, relaxing and supportive village atmosphere.

About you

Working under the guidance of the Village Manager, you will execute all gardening activities in accordance with the existing frameworks and budget - ensuring that all work is carried out following the correct procedures. As you will be working alongside our many residents, a customer-service focus is essential, as will:
- Demonstrated abilities as a Gardener - weeding, pruning, planting & mowing- Experience in general gardening maintenance works- An understanding of machinery use and tools required for the role- High organisational skills and the ability to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks whilst working independently- Strong customer service and team focus- Basic computer literacy- Knowledge of Environment, Health and Safety legislation- A genuine interest in assisting the elderly

Please note: The successful applicant must complete a Police Check, will be required to receive an annual flu vaccination between the months of April-October as well as provide proof of the COVID-19 Vaccination with supporting documentation prior to joining. For selected roles more physical in nature, pre employment medical assessments may also be required prior to any employment offers being made.
