Our Digital Experience (DDX) team within our eCommerce function is significantly growing as we continue to invest in delivering the best digital shopping experience for our Customers. Our Digital Experience team is now seeking a Product Designer to join their growing team.

As a Lead Product Designer, you will play an active part of your design team and squad, participating in planning, research, ideation, design and execution.

**You will**:

- Create high-quality digital experiences for the Coles Group platforms, delivering compelling and accessible designs for our customers
- Deliver a customer-led approach to product design, exploring human problems via journey maps and personas to create wireframes and prototypes through to conducting user testing to validate designs
- Develop and align design deliverables to the eCommerce strategy, CUE strategy and Marketing strategies
- Work collaboratively with product and technology delivery to ensure experiences are desirable, feasible and viable
- Align design output to the Coles Customer Experience Strategy, Business Strategy, and Digital Strategy
- Mentor Product Designers
- Work closely with product and technology delivery to ensure experiences are desirable, feasible and viable
- You encourage a culture of collaboration with product and engineering teams
- Support Managers to build up the user experience design capability within the Design and Digital Experience team
- ** You'll need**:

- Extensive experience as a UX/Product designer or similar, with extensive skills in wireframe design, UI creation, prototype development and user testing
- Experience supporting digital channels for large, complex organisations requiring stakeholder management
- Experience designing for websites, apps and other touchpoints, with a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design
- Experience in managing or mentoring the team
- Ability to create rapid, low-fi through to high-fi prototypes and iterate
- Experience communicating and rationalising design decisions alongside feasibility
- A demonstrated capability in creating wireframes, UI and interactive prototypes; & providing developer-ready final designs
- Skilled in translating business process and customer behaviours/insights into design concepts
- Experience working in a digital-first organisation with a strong customer-centric focus
