We’re a small-scale community-focused cafe that prides itself on serving high-quality coffee, drinks and meals. We’re committed to providing exceptional service and creating a warm customer atmosphere.

**Job Type**

Barista, FOH - Casual position
- Welcome customers, take their orders and handle payments
- Give customers menus and answer their questions
- Prepare espresso-based specialty coffee and other drinks following recipes and deliver them to customers **(REQUIRED)**
- Ensure consistent quality in every cup by following precise brewing techniques **(REQUIRED)**
- Keep coffee-making equipment clean throughout the day and conduct a thorough cleaning by following relevant procedures at the end of the day
- Pay attention to stock control and replenish shelves and fridges on a timely basis
- Train new employees on how to operate equipment and prepare different drinks
- Execute store’s opening and closing following relevant procedures
- Maintain stock of clean cutlery
- Keep the counter area clean and conduct daily cleaning of the store
- Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs to management
- Communicate customer feedback to management
- Be proactive in identifying issues and concerns and propose solutions to the best of your ability
- Comply with health and safety regulations
- Undertake other Barista and FOH role tasks required by management

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a barista (minimum 1 year)
- Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and latte art
- Work 3 to 4 shifts weekly (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly and customer-oriented attitude
- Food handling certification (preferred)
