Southern Cross Montessori Leopold is looking for a passionate educator to join our Kindergarten team three days a week.

We run a 33 place classroom with an integrated 3 & 4 year old Kindergarten and long-day-care program.

**About the role**:
We are seeking a Diploma qualified educator to join our friendly and supportive team. This position is for 20 hours a week, across 3 days.

The role will involve working alongside an ECT and other assistant educators, reflecting a Montessori philosophy and curriculum. You will be part of a team dedicated to providing a high level of care to children and their families.

You will have the opportunity to learn hands on experience with Montessori specific materials through mentoring and supportive resources.

**Required**:

- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA equivalent
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates
- Child protection training certificate
- Current WWCC
- Ability to contribute to quality planning, reflection, embedding the NQS & VEYLDF, and communicate effectively
- Completing required tasks such as, daily reports, using service software, cleaning duties, planning, active supervision, and quality interactions & observations with children & their families
- A passionate and enthusiastic attitude to care for and work with children and other educators
- A commitment to upholding the service philosophy and values, policies, and procedures
- Montessori experience preferred but not essential
