Regional General Manager, Sun Coast

As a Regional General Manager, you'll be a key member of the State Leadership Team within the Westpac Consumer Bank and your role is paramount to helping contribute to the delivery of Westpac’s vision and strategic priorities.

**How will I help?**

As a Regional General Manager with us you have a chance to make a real impact Through leadership, you will shape our Westpac and St George Consumer Banking teams, whilst contributing to the delivery of Westpac’s vision and strategic priorities. You’ll drive deep and meaningful customer and community relationships, not only giving them a delightful experience but also leading a service revolution through innovation, digitalisation, productivity and efficiency.

You will be Westpac's representative in the region of Sunshine Coast and North Brisbane; building a strong profile and productive working relationships in the local community is essential and you will attend a number of high-profile community and corporate events.

As an RGM you will lead a team of Bank Managers who know their customers in their local market better than anyone else in their region. You will build and sustain a constructive, achievement oriented and customer centric culture and gather, understand and use customer data and competitor intelligence to identify business opportunities, driving profitability and market share. You will also deliver business performance and focus on delighting our customers by meeting their SME, Consumer and Wealth needs. There will be plenty of opportunities for you to coach and mentor our already high performing team of retail bankers, helping them take their performance to the next level and supporting them through transformation and change.

To be successful in this role you will have previous people and business unit leadership experience in a customer focused environment along with highly developed business acumen, standout communication skills for corporate events and engaging staff, and a strong understanding of the banking/financial services market.

Integrity and good judgement to lead clearly and transparently through periods of instability and change is essential and so is a solid background in sales management and coaching that will assist you in developing and inspiring a successful sales team. A natural people-person, your impressive track record and living a customer centric culture will make you a standout.
