Gold Coast, Australia Big Red Carpet Cleaning and Pest Control Full time

Big Red Carpet Cleaning & Pest Control have been operating on the Gold Coast for over 35 years and we are looking for a part-time/casual Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner to join our small team. **The right applicant will have the opportunity to gain permanent employment.**

We are located at Logan Village however the work will predominately be on the Gold Coast, and you may be required to work on the south side of Brisbane and Logan from time to time.

The appropriate person will:

- Be well presented, reliable, honest punctual and hardworking, and
- Highly motivated and strong attention to detail, and
- Have Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, and
- Physically fit as the role can be physically demanding, and
- Have a manual licence as a vehicle will be supplied, and
- Be available on school holidays and after hours from time to time to meet our commercial client needs, and
- Must obtain a National Police check and be able to obtain a Blue Card as we work in schools and aged care facilities.

Your daily tasks will include:

- Carpet, upholstery & tile cleaning, pest control (if licenced), and flood restoration, and
- Other services that you will be trained and qualified to undertake, and
- Positively recommending additional products and services to customers, and
- Customer Service, and
- Use and general maintenance of machinery, and
- Preparation of daily paperwork and receipt of payments from customers.

Experience and a pest licence is preferred but not required as we will train a person who is keen, fit and has a positive attitude. The right person will have the opportunity to receive industry recognized training & a government issued pest management license.

Part-time hours: 15-38 per week

**Salary**: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Gold Coast QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Commercial cleaning: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- National Police Certificate (required)
- Driver Licence (required)
- Working with Children (required)

- Australia (required)
